Baseball Playoffs
As I am sitting in my dorm room contemplating what to blog about, my room mate and I are watching baseball. The playoffs are called NLCS, which is the National League Conference Series and it is the best out of 5 games. The two teams playing are the Los Angeles Dodgers and theint Philadelphia Phillies. I think this will be a compelling series because I am from the west coast and also a Dodgers fan whereas my room mate is from the east coast and a big Phillies fan. I have always loved watching baseball. When I was younger my dad would always take my brother and I to the San Diego Padres game. It was so exciting sitting in the stadium and watching the players and the game. Now that I am older, I still love watching the game even though I don't have much time see the games other than on television. Although the Padres are not very good, I am thrilled to see another California team in the playoffs. Actually there are two. The Anaheim Angels are also in the playoffs but they are playing the New York Yankees. The winner of these two games will eventually play each other in the World Series. I cannot wait to see what CA team will make it. I cannot remember the last time there were two teams from my area that made it this far. Needless to say, the World Series should be a very interesting one.

I love watching baseball too! I'm from Indianapolis so we don't have a major league team, but I still love watching the playoffs. =)
ReplyDeleteI love going to baseball games and being in the stadium. It is a great experience and everyone should do it one time. Sad to say even though I wanted both California teams to advance also their chances are looking pretty slim to none. But you never know anything can happen in the playoffs.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy watching baseball too. To bad the closest major league team is the reds. I live near Cinci and I do go to a lot of games but I usually just go to watch the other team.
